Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this pet seat for exceptional comfort, safety, and durability. Dogs love the soft, cozy padding and elevated window views, with many owners reporting their pets eagerly settle in for naps and travel. The secure seatbelt integration and harness clips provide peace of mind, and several customers credit it with protecting their dogs during accidents. Long-term users report owning the product for seven to ten years, with many purchasing multiple units for different vehicles. The removable, washable cover maintains cleanliness effectively. A few note recent foam changes feel less supportive, but overall satisfaction remains exceptionally high.

The Best!!

This is the BEST travel dog bed out there. Both my dogs love it. We have 2 large ones we use all the time. Unfortunately, they are a few years old now and I would like to replace the outer cover but they don't make a replacement cover. I really wish they did. I definitely recommend this travel bed!

Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic review. It’s wonderful to hear the seats have held up for over seven years and that your dogs love them so much they use them both in the car and around the house. I have this seat as well, and I completely agree — it’s an excellent car seat and doubles as a great bed inside our tent when we go camping. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

It saved my dog’s life!

This car seat saved my dog's life this weekend! I was hit by a red light runner on the passenger rear side where he was buckled in. He’s 9 pounds, the side walls kept him inside the seat, it did not move position, and he is 100% uninjured. Extremely grateful his grandma purchased this for him. It’s also very comfortable so nice to have even if you’re never in an accident. Thank you!!!

We are so relieved to hear your pup is safe after such a frightening accident. Thank you for sharing this powerful story—it means the world to know the seat did its job when it mattered most. We’re grateful his grandma chose this product for him, and we’re glad it brings comfort and peace of mind every day, not just in emergencies. Wishing you and your little one many safe and happy travels ahead!

Terrible! Changed materials to cheap junk!

Former dedicated customer

What happened? I am so embarrassed. I’ve been recommending these for YEARS. I bought two several years ago and they were amazing. I don’t know when, but at some point they clearly have changed the materials used and the design and the product is now just a flimsy piece of garbage. This is not even usable. You can tell they changed the materials because the cover doesn’t even fit snug. The new, cheap, flimsy foam is so much thinner the cover is just sloppy all around it. It used to be snug and proper. The foam used to be sturdy and supportive. This is just a total fail. I’m so disappointed because they really had something amazing years ago and I use it every day and truly need it for my Frenchies’ safety and security. My car was stolen so I had to buy a new one and this is not even close to what the product used to be. My girls get a lot of attention everywhere we go and everybody asks about their car seat. I’ve enthusiastically raved about this product for all these years not knowing that they cheaped out some point. Such a shame.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—and we’re truly sorry for the disappointment and frustration this has caused. Your loyalty over the years means a great deal, and we deeply regret that the current product didn’t meet the standard you’ve come to expect. We want to reassure you that while the product’s construction has changed to a knock-down format for more compact shipping, the materials themselves—including the quality foam and structural integrity—have not changed. When assembled correctly, the cover is designed to fit snugly and securely, just as before. We understand how important this product is for your Frenchies’ safety and comfort, and we’re grateful for your long-standing trust and advocacy. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer care team at 877-738-5188—we’d love the opportunity to make this right and ensure you and your pups have the support you need. Thank you again for your honest feedback and for being such a passionate voice in the pet community.

Perfect Pet Seat!

Marie J

Perfect for my 37 lb Frenchie. I assembled it in the house and he instantly hopped in and took a nap. He looked so comfy, and it is the perfect size for him. I put in the car in the back seat and he seemed comfortable. He’s not a big fan of car rides so I thought this might help. I think it has. He can look out the window, and I feel he is secure, safe and comfortable.

Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re so happy to hear that your Frenchie loves his new bed and that it’s providing him comfort during car rides. It sounds like it’s the perfect size for him, and we’re thrilled to know it’s helping him feel more secure and cozy in the back seat. It’s great to hear that he instantly made himself at home and even took a nap right away! We hope it continues to be a comfy spot for your pup both at home and on the go. Thanks again for sharing your experience, and if you ever need any more products or assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Disappointing Dog

This was my third purchase of this particular seat. Loved the first two. However, it seems K&H decided to change things up, substituting flimsy for substantial. The sides and back are now just fabric which allows your pet to be poured out under the right conditions. A huge disappointment.

Thank you for your continued support and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your most recent booster seat didn’t meet your expectations. It sounds like the back foam insert may have been missed during setup. If the foam is not inserted properly, the seat can appear soft or collapsed—this would give the look that you are describing. The sides and back should feel substantial once all foam components are properly in place. We want to reassure you that while we’ve adjusted the packaging to a more compact form, the materials and foam inserts remain the same as in previous versions. Please reach out to us directly (877) 738-5188, so we can walk you through the setup and ensure everything is in place. We’d be happy to help get your booster seat performing as expected!
