Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this toy for exceptional play engagement, with dogs obsessively chasing, fetching, and tugging it. The hollow plastic ball proves remarkably durable, surviving aggressive chewing and years of use, while the rope typically shreds within days. Many appreciate the rope's replaceability, viewing it as smart design. Dogs continue enjoying the ball alone long after the rope deteriorates. A small group with extremely aggressive chewers report disappointment, noting both components destroyed quickly. Overall, most customers consider the durable ball worth the rope's short lifespan and plan to repurchase.

our 6 month old pup loves his but we are on our 3rd already and we don't let him chew on it. the last one didn't even last 3 days before he bit a piece off the ball.

Received on a Monday afternoon and fell apart by Wednesday morning. My dog is NOT a heavy chewer. He was just running around the yard with the rope in his mouth and the ball waving about. The rope unraveled quickly and the ball fell off. There were about a million strands and there was no way I could rebraid it. Tried stuffing the remnants back through the ball, but it didn't work so well. What an unfortunate waste!

Bought specifically because I read they are good for aggressive chewers. Our standard poodle had the handle almost off in 30 minutes. Not worth it.

Fun but Rope quality isn’t the best

Puppy loves the toy but the rope quickly shredded into strings. Would have expected this to last much longer for a 10 lb pup. Would like to purchase another one but hesitant since the rope didn’t last on the first one.

I bought this for my malinois as they are tough on toys and while nothing holds up forever this one lasted months of playtime! Eventually repetitive malinois chomps got it but I will happily get another one for how long it lasted and how much they enjoyed playing with it. The rope was great for tossing it or tugging with them and the ball really held up to punctures until the very end.

i loved this ball when i bought our first one a few years ago, but with the new ones we've noticed that the rope material has changed to a less durable rope.. i've bought 3 balls so far and i'm still putting the rope from our first ball(2 years ago) into the new balls because the new ropes are just not as good! pls bring back the old ropes!!!

what size jolly pet romp-n-roll toy for my 65 lb dog

  1. I bought the 8” size for my daughter’s pit and she loves it and is note a big chewer but someone took it out of our yard and she was depressed till I just found one. She was so excited about this toy!  Thumbs up for the maker! Definitely a recommendation

Follow up question re liquid algae and brine shrimp

  1. Thank you for your question. We would recommend using PhytoGreen-S for feeding brine shrimp. PhytoGreen-M would work if that's the only option, but the smaller size of PG-S will make it easier for the shrimp to consume it. tah

Is this liquid phytoplankton appropriate to feed to brine shrimp?

  1. Thank you for your interest in Drs. Foster and Smith. We suggest feeding Brine Shrimp O.S.I. Artemia Food 11.5 grams, CD-909092. O.S.I. Artemia Food is a versatile growth and maintenance diet for brine shrimp. Highly nutritious and easy to use diet helps improve brine shrimp survival rate so you have more live food to offer your aquarium fish, corals or invertebrates. Great food for rearing baby brine shrimp. Feed O.S.I. Artemia Food to your live brine shrimp twice a day an amount that will keep water slightly clouded for 1-2 hours.
