Ideal feeding amounts will vary by age, weight, and activity level so the guide below should be used as an initial recommendation. Divide the cups per day by the number of feedings per day. Be sure to always provide clean, fresh water. Along with dry food, we recommend feeding raw or wet food to help increase the amount of water in your pet's diet. Daily Feeding Guidelines (standard 8 oz dry measuring cup): Adult Maintenance (cups per day): 5 lb: 3/8 cup; 10 lb: 1/2 cup; 15 lb: 3/4 cup, Weight Loss (cups per day): 5 lb: 1/4 cup; 10 lb: 3/8 cup; 15 lb: 1/2 cup, Kittens: Feed up to twice the adult maintenance amount. Pregnant/Nursing Females: Feed up to three times the adult maintenance amount shown above. Transitioning to Instinct: Always introduce a new food over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts of Instinct with the current food each day.

Review this Product
Customers say
Customers overwhelmingly praise this cat food for exceptional palatability, with most cats eagerly seeking out the freeze-dried raw meat bits first. Many owners report visible improvements in coat shine, digestion, and energy levels. Even previously picky eaters now consume it enthusiastically. Several note benefits for cats with sensitive stomachs or digestive issues. The grain-free formula with real chicken gives owners confidence in nutritional quality. A small number report their cats rejected the food, though these cases are rare and represent a tiny fraction of feedback overall.

Questions
Is this OK for kittens? I don't see feeding instructions or directions showing kitten daily amount.
- Hello! This recipe is suitable for all life stages. For kittens, you will feed up to twice the adult amount per day.

Bought a 5 lb bag & our 2 cats gobbled it up. One of them especially loves the "marshmallows" as we like to call the raw bits. Purchased a 2nd 10 lb bag & they will not touch it, not even the marshmallows. Any idea why? They are normally not picky at all.
- Thanks for the response. We picked up another (small) bag and they are eating it again so we think it was a bad batch or was possibly stored in a hot warehouse for an extended period and went stale sooner than the expiration date. We will be returning the other bag to Petco the next time we are near a store.

I have a 1yr old Black short/Haired Domestic Cat, and I’ve been having to switch out different dry foods. The older he gets, the pickier he gets. He needs it controlled or else he’ll over eat it and throw up. Will this help him? Feel fool and happy?
- Hi There! Our Raw Boost kibble is a popular option for our dry foods and is typically a winner with picky pets! Thanks!
