Pregnant/Nursing Females: Feed up to three times the adult maintenance amount shown above. Transitioning to Instinct: Always introduce a new food over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts of Instinct with the current food each day.

Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this rabbit-based formula for resolving severe digestive issues and food allergies in cats. Many report vomiting, diarrhea, and skin reactions disappearing within days or weeks, especially after other brands and prescription diets failed. Reviewers highlight the limited ingredients—eliminating chicken, fish, soy, and gluten—as critical for sensitive cats. Most note improved energy, shinier coats, and brighter eyes. Even picky eaters eagerly consume it daily. Some mention concerns about dark stools, kibble size for older cats, or recent formula changes affecting palatability. Overall, most customers consider it a life-changing solution despite minor drawbacks.

Great texture, good value for a healthy meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat really enjoys the rabbit recipe. The texture of the kibble is easy to eat and the limited-ingredient formula feels like a great value. I’ve noticed a nice looking coat and good energy, and it’s easy to incorporate into his daily eating routine.

Not Loved by My Cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not really appreciated by the cats. I currently have 4 in the house and only 1 is really willing to eat the food (but he eats everything). For the price I couldn't justify the cats not wanting to eat the food. One cat literally ate around the food when it was mixed with old. Didn't see any improvement in digestion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] wasn’t impressed or anything since i wasn’t the one who tried it but my cats didn’t really prefer it. out of 3 cats only one of them ate some. but the ingredient list is pretty simple and the smell was gross.

Great for cats with sensitive stomachs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very hesitant to try this because my cats are picky eaters and one has a very sensitive stomach. But to my surprise, they all loved it. My cat with stomach issues had no problems with this food. She had no upset stomach or digestive problems. I do love that the bag is resealable. It makes storing it very easy. Overall, my cats approve of this food and I will be buying more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Murchik officially approves 🤍 Instinct Limited Ingredients Diet has become our favourite-clean ingredient, nothing unnecessary, and most importantly , my cat runs to the bag before I even have time to pour it 😅I love that it’s grain free and great for sensitive stomach

Not my cat’s favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat, Ivan, was excited about this before it even came out of the package it was shipped in. Both he and our older cat readily ate the pieces I offered them as a taste test. I mixed it in with their current food and they both ate it well. However, now that the mix is mostly the Instinct, Ivan is leaving a lot of it in his bowl at each meal, which isn’t like him. He’s normally by boy who eats everything in one sitting. Maybe just not the flavor for him, so won’t be buying again. I wouldn’t hesitate to try a different formula in the future though.

Life saver for allergy prone cat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has been amazing for our kitty that has allergies to a lot of things. We’ve suffered with lip ulcers from foods with no relief even on expensive prescription food, losing hair on belly from itching and licking. But this has been great! So far his hair is growing back and ulcer has gone away! Definitely our new food!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package is very high quality. Also zipper on top makes it easy to store and keep food protected and prevent it from waste. Easy to digest. Complete source of nutrients for my cat.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Questions

Does freeze drying the raw food take away the concerns with handling/feeding raw food in terms of the potential bacteria and shedding of bacteria?

  1. Hello! No, freeze-drying does not destroy pathogens. For any frozen/freeze-dried raw, we do a process called HPP (high pressure processing) to destroy bacteria and make it safe. :)
