Description

Over time, aquarium substrate often becomes clogged with organic debris, which causes water to channel over the substrate, leading to areas in the substrate that are low or absent in oxygen. This condition is not ideal for plant roots. That's where the Imagitarium Substrate Booster comes in. It contains a variety of sludge degrading bacteria that mineralizes the debris in the substrate before it builds up to dangerous levels, providing more even water flow and oxygen to the entire substrate that keeps plant roots heathly.

I really love this product! It’s easy to use and a great addition to my freshwater shrimp aquarium. I like that it helps maintain the mineral balance my shrimp need for healthy molting and shell development. A little goes a long way, and it gives me extra peace of mind knowing I’m supporting a healthy environment for my shrimp and snails. Definitely a product I would recommend to other aquarium hobbyists!

I have used this product cautiously based on other reviews. I use about half of the recommended amount in my beta tank. So far he seems perfectly fine so I won’t be increasing the dose. I would definitely start small to test how your aquarium responds.

My aquarium water has never been so healthy. The plants are thriving and there is less algae than usual. This stuff is magic and I will absolutely continue to use it for my seventy gallon freshwater tank
