Feeding square

KimH.

This feeding ring would work the best for smaller tanks and if you feed food pellets not flakes. I received this as a promotional item. However I could not use it in my tank. My fish prefer flake food. It does seem quite easy to use, and I think it would help to keep food from falling to the bottom.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Fish ring

I just scoop...

It is an open plastic square ring that is to be submerged just below the water line. It's not the easiest to get the food onto the ring while it is in the tank without it just spilling it into the water.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I was excited to review this feeding ring in my 25 gallon tank with a single betta in it. I have an air stone that disturbs the top water and frightens the fish and this ring was going to help my fish be less anxious when finding his pellets. Unfortunately my fish died before this item arrived and I have not replaced him.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice portal

It's a nice starter portal feeding square, it moves a bit too easily with the filter pumping and I think it spooks the fish because I haven't seen my betta near it at all. He actually won't come out and eat unless I remove it. It could just be my fish in particular, I don't have any other fish to test it on. It does it's job though and looks really neat. I hope if more shapes and sizes are made in the future

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a small item, but perfect for feeding your beta. Especially if it’s a child’s first pet and you are teaching them responsibility. I like the suction cup feature, makes it easy to remove and clean

Yes, I recommend this product.

Little big, but has other uses

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This is a little bigger than I prefer especially if you have a smaller tank. Betts fish don’t need a whole lot of food. But with that said, I really like having a few pieces of frogbit, in it and it keeps it from floating all over the tank, and when I put his food in there, he seems to enjoy, not having to chase it down.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This feeding square does exactly as it says and contains all food debris within the square. I don’t have to worry about the food being swept away and my betta has a dedicated spot to find his food every day

Yes, I recommend this product.
