I bought several of these and the "sticky" back doesn't stay adhered to the side of the tank several times over. I bought six and all of them need to be re-stuck numerous times. I found them stuck to my snakes heads and had to slowly & carefully remove them without ripping scales out. Had to rig them up my own way until I can get something I won't need to worry about the safety of my animals about. DO NOT BUY!

Fell off the inside of our tank after 1 day. Lizard got stuck to it. Used vegetable oil to get him free per vet advice, but he still died the next day. This was my son's my first pet-death, he was so sad and we didn't even have time to prepare him, it was so unexpected :(
