It works well to clean my tank. I like that it is easy to use.

Can never find these filters. And these filters do not last. It says change every 2 to 4 weeks. Shouldn't have to do so that much. But I change it after a week because my tank starts to turn green.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I have been trying to get these filters for months. Horrible scam to say the least. They sell you the fish tank, but you CAN NOT get filters. If you request to be notified when available, they switch SKU numbers and send you the WRONG size. Honestly, it's a horrible scam and unfair to the little fish.

I wish I had seen the review from one day ago prior to buying these. I bought the Imaginatarium 5.5 gallon tank which came with a filter and only one replacement cartridge. It’s literally impossible to get a replacement cartridge that fits. The instructions to the aquarium kit say to get small cartridges BUT apparently they don’t exist.

No replacement filters available. Stores say they only have small filters, but the filter machine comes with one half the size and no available skus that match that size. Store customer service doesn't know how to help with this issue and if you bought the small 5.5/6gal filter machine as part of a kit, you can't return the filter machine for one that actually has coconut filter replacements available. This is a Petco brand, so no other stores carry the exact filter needed.

This is the stupidest brand when it comes to filters and replacements. We have a small 2.5 gallom tank so we bought the smallest filter. After the initial purchase and 2 follow up trips, I have gone to our local petco 5 times to get replacement filters and they are ALWAYS out of stock. I figured I will just go and buy then straight from the source since I can't get them in stores and I already know the size. To get free shipping, I ordered 5 packs. Somehow they are all two big. The packaging says small, but they are clearly mediums because they don't fit my small filter. This is the only thing I buy from petco since most of our pet needs are theough pet supplies plus. I am going to return these, get my money back, and just save myself the frustration by getting a whole new filter system and replacements at pet supplies plus.

Imagitarium sells a 2.5 gallon cylinder aquarium with a filter that I could not find either online or in 3 different Petco stores when it needed replacement. A Petco employee told me that I could use the extra small (XS) Aqueon filter instead as they don't get replacement filters for that size aquarium. While the Aqueon filter doesn't fit quite as well, I had no other choice unless I wanted to buy another new aquarium or let my fish die. Very frustrating!
