It’s perfect for my 3 gallon tank, the valve everyone is complaining about isn’t necessary for 2-5 gallons of water, but can also by one for four bucks at the store or Amazon.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Customer Care

We're glad the Imagitarium Mini Air-Driven Sponge Filter Kit was a perfect fit for your 3-gallon tank and worked well without the valve for smaller setups. Our team aims to provide reliable filtration solutions that keep aquariums running smoothly. Thank you!

Do not even bother buying this because it doesn’t work and I’m gonna tell you a better option. 1. It doesn’t come with a check valve (even though it says it is a “kit”) 2. Set it up and didn’t work. The air pump was very loud and was blowing air into the filter, but it wasn’t functioning (no bubbles coming out) I HIGHLY recommend you buy: Imagitaroum IN-FIL sponge filter, air tubing, and an Aqua air pump from Walmart. You will pay the exact same amount getting that sponge filter and just putting it together yourself (easy YouTube video to set up in less than 5 mins) instead of wasting your money on this product. Trust me on this. Don’t buy this product

I can't tell if it is actually filtering anything. It's been running for 2 days and the water is cloudy still. I watch particles drift past it and they don't get sucked in. It just adds bubbles which I assume help move water around.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought this today and the suction cup that holds the filter has a rip straight out of the box other than that it's working ok so far

No, I do not recommend this product.

We bought this yesterday, brought it home and set it up to realize that the valve was missing. This piece is sold separately, even though it’s included in the assembly instructions. Very misleading and I would not buy this again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

How do I get a replacement air stone for this?

Hi, Based on typical filter construction, the Imagitarium Mini Air-Driven Sponge Filter Kit does not have a specific, branded replacement air stone. However, you can easily replace it with a generic, small-sized air stone and a short piece of airline tubing, both of which are widely available at aquarium supply stores. Thanks, Petco Support.
