Customers say

Customers report severe dissatisfaction with this aquarium skull decor, primarily due to paint chipping and peeling into the water within days or weeks, with many linking this directly to fish deaths, neurological damage, and digestive issues. Reviewers describe the coating deteriorating with minimal contact, disintegrating rapidly despite aquarium marketing. A small number appreciate its realistic appearance and sturdy resin construction, noting it works well for reptiles and provides hiding spots. However, the overwhelming consensus warns that the product is unsafe for fish tanks due to toxic paint failure, making it unsuitable for aquatic use despite its aesthetic appeal.

Sadly had the same thing happen. Not even a month old and the paint is peeling off. CC the betta loves hiding in it but it has to go because I’m not risking the harm to CC.

Began peeling and fish started dying. Dissapointed since kids really liked it but obviously they liked their fish dying even less….

I put this in my tank in January, a few weeks later the paint started peeling. The same time we noticed the paint peeling the nitrogen in our tank spiked and we almost lost our fish. BUYER BEWARE!
