NO LIGHT....get ready to buy another hood $$$
I bought 2 hoods for my 55 gal. tank close to a year ago.
I bought 2 hoods for my 55 gal. tank close a year ago and more than I'd planned to spend. Well just this week one of the hoods failed to come on and does not work any longer. From what Ive seen so far there is no option to replace just the bulbs , you have to spend another $50 plus dollars to buy another hood. And i wonder how much longer is the other hood going to last. I really enjoyed while they worked and if Id known there was no replacing the bulb assembly I would not have bought this product. I don't have the extra $100 a year to replace the hood lights.

To small! It is a half inch short width and depth! I’m using a carpenters shim to keep it from falling in the tank!

Great fit but no ac adaptor
I bought this a while ago, but was unable to put up right away due to a broken foot. I am setting up now and the hood is great….except there was no ac adaptor to plug it in to. The store I purchased no longer has this size…the medium for Imagitarium 20 gallon long tank. Where or how can I get an adaptor?

So far so good!
Bought 29 gal kit. Nice tank no messy silicon. Filter seems adequate, nice clear water, good agitation. Heater is adjustable which is a plus. No complaints, so far so good

It says it comes with an ac adapter, but where is it? The cord on the hood doesn't have prongs to fit into the electrical socket.
