Is there a way to get a replacement foam/sponge part?
- Since Petco does not manufacture a standalone replacement sponge specifically tailored for the IN-FIL 40, you can use SKU 2441408 (Imagitarium Replacement A Filter Sponges, Pack of 2) or SKU 3865739 (Imagitarium Replacement Sponges Filter, Pack of 2). While these SKUs are originally designed for Imagitarium's smaller desktop or mini air-driven kits, they are the closest official brand alternatives available. You can easily cut, stack, or modify these smaller block sponges to wrap around or fit inside your existing IN-FIL 40 core to restore mechanical filtration without buying an entirely new filter unit.
