Bought two months ago and loved the colors, but it is hollow and has a noxious smell. At first I thought maybe I trapped air inside it while setting it into place, but after cleaning it it seems to have gotten worse. It may not be safe for fish. After removing it my fish started showing signs of stress. I have removed ornaments before with no issue, but the smell from this one has polluted my tank. I ended up throwing it out. Petco should remove this model from its shelves I don't think it's safe for aquariums

i bought this a month ago and it has completely ruined my tank and almost killed my fish. the water has a chemical smell, its leeching its color into the white sand, and no matter how many times i wash, soak or scrub it, it still has this 'fresh off the press' smell to it. by day 7, the water was slimy and cloudy. i have done complete water changes 4 times in a 2.5g tank because of this piece.

No, I do not recommend this product.
