Interesting kit
I'm excited to try this defroster feeder ring defroster. The feeder ring looks like the other one I use, but the basket for the frozen food is a nice addition and fits exactly into the feeder ring. I hope this will help my older slow fish get the food before it falls to the bottom. It also comes with a cup, but I'm not sure I'll need it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Keeps things tidy
Having to thaw out frozen fish food in a separate container before dropping it into the tank. And then after I’d drop it in it’d swirl away or drop to the bottom of the tank before the fish could get it all. This solves both problems letting me thaw out the food in the tank and not have to worry about it swirling all around and just become waste product on the bottom of the tank. Very useful and recommended.

Defrosted shrimp can’t fit through
We got this for my son’s salt water tank since he feeds his fish frozen shrimp, but he was not a fan. It does a decent job of floating and defrosting the shrimp, but the holes are too small for the shrimp to get out. Not sure if this would work with another brand or type of fish food, but it didn’t go as expected for us.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great feeder for small fish
Great feeder and defrosting combo for smaller fish. The defroster is nice to have to start the bloodworms thawing and then pour it into the feeder and its a great interactive way to feed your fish! It helped to spread out the frozen food so all fish got some.

This works well and my newts really like using it!
This is a super helpful tool to have! I use it for our newts to defrost their food. It’s nice to have the food confined to one place for convenience, and with the tank’s heat it defrosts way faster than other methods.

Looks to be of great quality
Looking forward to using this item. My pet fish died so I haven’t been able to use it but looking at the item it looks like it’ll be very helpful when I want to give it frozen brine shrimp. Seems sturdy and of good quality

Works great
I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Fish were a little hesitant at first but product works great. Helps keep their food in one place and not getting sucked into the filter.

Simple but efficient
Comes in three pieces. The main piece has a suction cup that attaches to the side of the tank. Suction cup works well. It hasn’t come off for me yet, so I’m happy with it. The second piece is a strainer, where you put the food in, that sets inside the main piece. The third piece is a defroster, so if you feed frozen blood words or something you can put them in the strainer, inside the defroster before putting in the tank. Simple but it works awesome!
Yes, I recommend this product.
