Customers say
Customers overwhelmingly praise this bowl for its sturdy ceramic design, high sides that effectively contain feeder insects like mealworms and super worms, and weight that prevents tipping. The smooth texture and slight rim border keep insects trapped while remaining shallow enough for small pets like leopard geckos, bearded dragons, and frogs to feed comfortably. Reviewers consistently highlight the ease of cleaning, resistance to odors, and versatility for both food and water across reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. Many have purchased multiple units or repurchased after trying alternatives. A few note occasional escapes with larger prey, but most consider this minor and tied to prey size rather than design flaw.

Questions
Can these be used temporarily for hermit crab water dishes? Or would they be too deep to climb out of? I already have two from a previous pet and I'm waiting for different dishes to be in stock
Is it safe to use inside an aquarium ?
- I use them as water dishes & feeding dishes - so if you're talking about those uses the answer is yes :)

Would this be a good bowl to use for green tree frogs? (Of any age)
- Maybe it is a shallow small crock. I use it for my special needs birds. Petco has a couple of different ones. For frog food it might be ideal.

can it make a good water dragon bathing bowl?
- No, way too small. Get one of the large corner dishes. Provide the most space without taking up as much

Can I use this to feed my chameleon
- Hi Hailey00, Mealworms would be able to escape this dish very quickly. I would recommend this SKU instead for a chameleon. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/lees-mealworm-dish Thanks,

Could I use this for my ferret
- Think it is too small for a ferret. I use them for my birds. Maybe a heavier ceramic crock at a feed store would work better.
