My dog is diabetic and is needing a low carb food. I looked at the ingredient list and did not see anything about the amount of carbs in the food. My dogs vet said to look for food with 25% or less of carb, 15-30% protein, under 30% fat and around15%fiber

Iam's Pro Active Adult dog food----Are the chunks mini and ok for a small dog
- Great question! IAMS Proactive Health Mature Adult can be fed to a smaller dog who prefers a more medium sized kibble. However, if you have not used this product previously, I would recommend transitioning the food with your current food over the next 7-10 days. Michele IAMS Consumer Relations

Can this be used with a water fountain that has a filter?
- I did read some where that it is not recommended using in those automatic water fountains where the filters contain charcoal, since those, in particular is made to remove contaminants. As for non-charcoal filters, I read that someone noticed that it helped keep the fountain clean too, to where she no longer see's any yellowish coloring on it. Regretfully my cat's do not like the water fountains due to the noise it makes, so I am using those jumbo (for dogs) waterers.
