IAMS Proactive Health Adult indoor is a dry cat food I have decided to try with my cat Thor. He could use a little weight management going on in his diet so I think this is the best choice. He doesn’t have a hairball problem but this will also prevent that so here’s to keeping it not being a problem. Thor is seeming to enjoy the taste and not complaining, trust me he will meow in disappointment and walk away if he doesn’t like it. So overall we will be getting Thor back on track with IAMS Proactive Health cat food.

I only buy Iams dry food for my cat, keeps her coat healthy and shiny. I rotate through different flavours as she is a very picky cat and she really enjoys this one! This one does what it says, helps with weight and hairball care. I have noticed when my cat eats this kind, much less hairball issues. I like that I can get a small or large bag, the price is great. I will continue to buy it!

Our calico female, Patches has a healthier coat and is better behaved since switching her to this formula. If you have a cat feeder, it's the perfect small size kibble for dispensing.

Reasonable price. Meat is the first ingredient. Both cats eat it just fine - the picky one and the one that eats anything. It smells disgusting, although I can't smell it at all in their food machine, only when I filled it and when it dispenses the kibble. I don't know if it's helping with digestion and hairballs. They weren't throwing up hairballs or having any digestive issues before, and still aren't - after about three weeks eating it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is the food I get my Persian for years and she loves it. She’s always been extremely healthy and has had no issues her coat is great and long and she rarely has hairballs anymore since starting this food.

I’ve been using IAMS Proactive for my cat and ,it’s been a great choice so far . I’ve noticed fewer hairballs and better weight control.I also like that it’s made with quality ingredients and has no fillers .The kibble has crunchy and firm texture .The packaging is sturdy and well-designed with a resealable top that helps keep the food fresh .

Maybe an odd question... How big are the pieces? One of my cats will swallow food pieces whole if they are small and then throw them up soon after swallowing them so I need something bigger that she has to chew.

Our cat just turned 1 and we wanted to switch over to an adult dry food. She is a persian himalayan and shedding a lot. Is this a good formula for her?

My 2 cats have short hair. I don't brush my cats. But recently a large furball was coughed up by one of my cats. I have been feeding my cats Iams Proactive Health Indoor Weight and Hairball Care for over 2 years. They have beautiful soft shiny coats. With your Persian Himalayan cat I would highly recommend you daily brush your cat. This formula cat food would also be beneficial.
