My dog loves his food and I love it too because I know it’s keeping her nice and healthy. We started her on this and she was a puppy to be sure that she gets the most nutrition she needs and has a really done well to help her development she is so smart and I contributed to this food. The texture is great. It’s not too big, but not too small and mix as well with the wet food that pairs with this. I feed it to her twice a day and she seems to have a pretty good stomach and does not have any issues digesting it.

Our very picky Afghan Hound has consistently eaten this diet. The only commercial food she seems to be able to tolerate. Allergic to everything except beef; the chicken content seems low enough not to trigger her IBD

It is always out of stock when I order it. So, I gave up & will feed another brand of canned food.

Not a good choice

This was for two of the five dogs I feed morning and evening. I bought two cases thinking they'd love it. They don't. Got through the first case by adding fresh cooked chicken. Since I probably couldn't return it, I foolishly opened the second case. The first can I pulled out was crushed and opened. I haven't looked beyond that, but I'm not surprised. Cans in the first case were dented, but not opened.

Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to hear of your experience. We could not tell by your post if you had done a gradual transition or not. We generally suggest doing a 7-day transition, as this allows them time to get used to the new flavor and ingredients. We are sad to hear that your order arrived in less than perfect condition. At Hill’s we take pride in the quality and integrity of our canned products as they go through extensive procedures, including quality checks by technicians at all stages of production to detect any damages or quality concerns. Please know that all of our products are backed by a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you would like to take advantage of our guarantee, please feel free to return the unused portion of the product to the place where you purchased it for a full refund or exchange.

Our pup loves Hills Hearty Beef Carrots and Peas Stew. We were looking for a chicken alternative, lower in fat, and this is a winner.
