Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this wet food for its exceptional palatability, with most cats showing intense enthusiasm—racing to bowls, meowing at the can sound, and refusing other options. The salmon, chicken, and ocean fish flavors are repeatedly described as top favorites, even among notoriously picky eaters. Reviewers highlight veterinary recommendations and long-term trust, noting tangible improvements in energy, coat quality, and digestive health. Some mention the strong odor and higher cost, but nearly all consider it worthwhile for their pets' well-being and satisfaction.

I have 3 cats of varying ages and body types. All three are very healthy on this food.

This is more than a change in presentation. My three cats used to love this food, but they wouldn’t touch the new version. I tried three flavors (salmon, chicken, and turkey liver), and they refused all of them.

Customer Care

We appreciate your feedback. We could not tell by your post if you had done a gradual transition or not. We generally suggest doing a 7-day transition, as this allows them time to get used to the new flavor and ingredients. This can also help ward off against any sort of tummy trouble. We hope this is helpful. Hill's Pet Nutrition

I am new to this brand of cat food. My cats loved it. I found they were not very fond of Purina for Professionals, which I have been buying for years. I believe it underwent an ingredient change. They also stopped offering pate'.
