When all available refills are used or the authorization expires, we will reach out to your vet to obtain a new authorization. For new authorizations, we will attempt to reach your vet for a total of 5 days. If your vet does not respond within 5 days, we will then reach out to you for a total of 3 days. If no response is given, the order will then be canceled.

Our Jack Russel had some serious gi issues and allergic reaction to his food. We had to try to find something he was not allergic to. Hills presciption diet was well known and came highly recommended by our vet. Unfortunately it was not for our little dog.

In addition, Hill’s offers a free Veterinary Consultation Services which allows your veterinarian to speak with our team of Veterinary experts regarding specific questions about your pet's condition and to get a food recommendation. It's a free service to them and they are available from 8-5 CST, Monday - Friday. This service allows your veterinarian to get a tailored diet recommendation or provide alternatives for your pet.

My diabetic dog was placed on this for weightless, but would only eat the chicken flavors. The smell wasn’t my favorite, but he ate all of it. He would splatter food everywhere, but he is obsessed.

The consistency of this product is so unreliable. For the first few years it was great and now it's watery and messy. Then it goes back and it's actually like a pate and now a few months later it's right back to soup. I'm going to try and find something else more reliable.

Some possible causes of the variation are high moisture content or rough handling. If the moisture level of the product is at the higher end of the specification range, the food may be more soupy. The manufacturing facility maintains extremely high quality standards and analyzes all products and ingredients before, during, and after production to ensure adherence to the designed analytical levels. If cans are shaken or roughly handled, the product can become soupier. We will be sure to pass your feedback to the appropriate departments.
