First the food itself. My vet recommended it after my dog had silicate stones and to that end it's been very good. He loves the taste as well whereas he didn't like other urinary formulas. It also agrees much better with his bowels. Unfortunately (like other Hills canned foods) they just can't keep the product consistent. When it's good its a firmer and almost crumbly consistency and easy to handle and eat. When it isn't, it comes out like peanut butter and is inedible. It's a big sticky ball. Imagine trying to eat peanut butter out of a bowl with not hands and a thick beard! No good. Hills keeps posting a canned response to reviews about storage, shipping, product age and whatever else instead of correcting the underlying issue that their customers keep offering feedback about. I've had cans with expiration dates only 3 months apart and one is great and the other horrible. No matter what the reason, it's inexcusable to keep distributing the product the way they are.

All 3 of my dogs love it. They are on their second bag and they are not itchy as much.

I was offered this product through a free program through my work. I have a giant schnauzer, very itchy skin, especially after grooming. I talked to the Hills rep. They suggested this product. I love it for him so far. It has even made his stool tons better and smaller, less itching as well. I recommend this highly.

My two love this dog food. It gives them a lovely shiny coat, they no longer itch themselves like some other products. Easy to open packaging and keeps the product fresh.

We tried this Rice & Egg recipe for my dog who has a sensitive stomach. The consistency is soft, not too watery and very easy to scoop and serve. The smell is mild compared to other wet foods we tried. My dog finishes the bowl every time and seems to enjoy it a lot. The packaging stays fresh and the shelf life is good. Overall we are happy with it and will repurchase.

My first impression was that it was a healthy dog food suggested by my vet. And I've been using it for about 5 months. My dog has skin issues, and it absolutely helps with allergies as well. It helps with the skin and it's gentle on the stomach.

Since starting this food in May, my dog has only needed 1 allergy injection. Prior to this food, she needed them every 4 weeks. All of the red, raw areas she had been licking are gone.

We actually still use this brand and our dog loves it. It also helps him digest food better as well. It’s easy to scoop, healthy ingredients, and the packaging is easy to open and easy to scoop out.
