Customers say

Customers praise this prescription diet for delivering dramatic health improvements in cats with severe allergies, skin conditions, and digestive issues, with many reporting resolved itching, healed wounds, and restored fur. Most note even picky eaters eagerly consume it. However, a substantial group expresses frustration over recent formula changes—particularly removal of urinary crystal management and fat substitution—reporting immediate health deterioration and forced diet switches. While many accept the premium price as justified by results, those affected by reformulation feel betrayed. Overall, most customers consider it highly effective despite concerns about cost and recent modifications.

My cat loves the duck flavored of d/d! It helps her out with food sensitivity! I wish they weren’t out of stock right now.

My cat prefers this over Z/D canned. By a lot. And he's not a picky eater. Unfortunately, it's always out if stock.

Great for food allergies

I love this diet, especially for food allergies. I have a few cats that need it. Lately in the past few months, my cats barely touch it, the dry venison formula. I've had to try other food allergy diets that are more palatable.

Mixed review on Feline ZD canned and dry

MBN DVM

The good news is that the vomiting is much less while on the Feline canned and dry ZD. And both cats love the ZD dry. The bad news is both cats only eat the canned when I put ZD dry mixed with it, or after they are real, real hungry. They do not like the ZD canned.

Perfect for cats with food allergies

My cat with a food allergy (undetermined what protein, either chicken or turkey) does SO well with this food. We tried the duck flavor first and she refused to eat it, but she immediately gobbled the venison up and has been doing great since starting this 2 months ago. Her fur is coming back and she is less itchy. We did also start a new medication, but I think both the medication and food are working together to help her since meds haven’t helped in the past with her allergies. I’ve included a before and after photo where you can see her fur coming back. So thankful this food exists and she likes it so much.
