Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this urinary diet, reporting dramatic improvements in bladder health including elimination of inflammation, bloody urine, and frequent litter box visits. Many describe avoiding surgery or recurrent infections, with cats diagnosed with stress-related urinary issues showing normalized patterns after other treatments failed. Despite being prescription-only, even picky eaters eagerly consume it, with reviewers noting regained energy and playful behavior. Veterinarians frequently recommend it, and most customers maintain their cats on this diet for years, citing long-term stability and fewer vet visits. A few mention cost concerns or minor weight gain, but the vast majority consider it essential and life-changing.

Great for cats with frequent UTI’s

StephanieS

I have a male cat who was prescribed this food and it has helped with his frequent UTI’s. He seems a little more relaxed seeing how he isn’t going to the dr all the time and I am too knowing he’s eating his crunchies that were designed for his specific issues.

I used this food for my kitty who was struggling with stress in her old age. She enjoyed the food and it really helped with her urinary problems. It made her coat shiny and the odor from the litter box disappeared!

Great for urinary problems

My cat was having a lot of trouble with crystals in her bladder so this was suggested by the vet. It did help get some wet food in her as she wasn’t really eating. She took to it well without having to ween her into it. The packaging kept the food dry and fresh, which was great as the bag was huge. We saw improvements with our cat within a few days as well so the food was definitely nutritious for her, tasty, and fur for purpose

I bought the c/d multicare stress urinary care cat food a month ago for my male cat that had a urinary blockage and required surgery several months ago. He’s doing really well on the c/d stress food, not having any blockages and enjoys the taste of the food. I highly recommend c/d stress wet food for cats that have had problems with blockages!

This is the only food my cat can eat without getting sick. I cannot afford this food any longer and my cat and I are both struggling, her especially. The overwhelming cost of this food makes it a terrible product - despite its health benefits.

Wanted the KD fish but that was not available. So I got the CD. My cat won't eat the chicken KD.

Questions

1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Why is it so expensive?

  1. My cat used to have other varieties of dry food. She had UTI once at 2 yrs old. I took her to see vet just in time and had antibiotic. Then, vet prescribed her this dry food, and we tried for a small bag, and she loved it right away. It has been another few years and no more UTI incident. I haven't switched back to regular dry food, but she is happy with this. The money saved from going to vet can well spend on better dry food. Oh, I mix this kind with Blue Wilderness in her diet, she still finishes this one and leftover the Blue Wilderness for supper =D

My cat urinates alot my vet says she is not diabetic and it's probably just because she is older and having kidney issues will this food help to reduce the amount she urinates?

  1. If your cat is going more because of stress induced urinary issues, then this could help (works for my cat). It may be worth getting a smaller bag to try out and see if it makes a difference. I would think you should notice a difference in a couple weeks if it does work for your cat.
