Pet enjoyed the food. After few weeks of being on it, it does help with medical issues. Cons are that it is expensive and has fillers. Packaged well.

As a veterinary professional, I was excited to see new products, combination foods. My French Bulldog already eats c/d, was excited to get it in the Metabolic formula to help keep my girl at a good weight. This formula seems more palatable, as she is more excited to eat this food over the original c/d. Definitely will be keeping her on this food.

I bought this about a month ago and so far so good. My female border is doing well, no urinary issues and no weigh gain even though I have slightly increased her calories.

My dog had struvite bladder stones twice before she changed to the Urinary Care dry diet. Once she became adjusted, she also started putting on extra weight. The vet recommended the Urinary + Metabolic product and she has done well on the product for the past year. She even lost a few pounds and is doing well. I gave this 3 star rating because the product cannot be found ANYWHERE! Is it still being produced? In a market where there appears to be zero alternate options for feeding this special diet, lack of availability is a very frustrating problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started using Hill's Science Diet c/d back in 2019 for our Shepard mix and it completely cleared up her chronic UTIs. We continued to use it regularly since it was the first time in 2 years that she finally wasn't having UTIs and going to the vet every other month. However, the downside was that it put weight on her RAPIDLY! By switching to this Metabolic version of c/d she has lost 12 lbs in just over a year! This is a great dietary food. She loves the taste and we've had no issues with it. My only complaint is that it goes out of stock SO FAST! Currently, it's unavailable everywhere. Even my dog's vet can't order it for me because it is out of stock. Please continue production on this food Hills!
