Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this prescription diet for transforming pets with serious health issues. Most highlight exceptional palatability, with sick and picky eaters suddenly eating eagerly when nothing else works. Reviewers report dramatic improvements in digestive health—vomiting and diarrhea resolving within days—and rapid weight gain, with some cats gaining 100g weekly. The soft pate texture and strong aroma are frequently cited as key to success. Many describe it as a life-saver for pets with kidney disease or sensitive stomachs. Veterinarians recommend and use it clinically, adding credibility. A few note concerns about price or rare refusals, but most consider it invaluable for critical care.

MY PICKY EATER IS EATING THIS!!!

Simon

My 17 year old cat has an over active thyroid. His vet has him on the highest dose of medication that he can safely be on. He has never been a big eater. When my friend suggested that I ask about the A/D food, I said my cat would never eat it. ( He won't even eat tuna or fresh chicken etc.) But he loves it. He is only about 7 pounds compared to his biological 17 year old sister who is 15. 5 pounds. He is eating this about a tablespoon at a time every 1/2 hour or so. I believe it is extending his life at this time. His heart and other blood work are good. He just needs the added calories.

To Long to Receive

Still Waiting

Petco takes way to long to process a prescription, I loaded my prescription the same day I ordered, and 4 days later the pharmacy said they did not receive it, then took 6 days in the mail to receive this urgant cat food.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great for jaw injuries.

As a veterinarian and wildlife rehabilitator, I use this in my wildlife work. It has been a blessing for an opossum with a broken jaw--as part of a soft diet, it has allowed him to heal and eat well. He loves the flavor too.

My 18 year old labradoodle suffered from a savage dog attack and didn’t eat anything for four days. Our Vet, Dr Clayton recommended Hills A/D chicken flavor, and he started eating normally immediately. Thank you!

Love this food but is it good or bad for constipated cat

Fluffy

My cat will be 20 in April. She is CKD. HYPERTHYROIDISM and IBD. She is 6lbs, but full of energy. I supplement her with this if she gets picky every once in awhile to keep her eating. Is it good or bad to give her when constipated? Any suggestions?
