Not as thick as they used to be. It used to take my chewer 2/3 days to go through one of the rawhides. Now it takes only a day.

We have an avid chewer - German Shepherd/Smooth Collie, 3 years old. Nothing withstood her gnawing for more than a few minutes. These bones keep her busy for a good bit of time - usually a few days at least - if not longer. I highly recommend these, just watch the end knuckles if they pop off. A big dog can swallow it whole!
