These were a nice treat for my dogs. They lasted a while and held their attention.

My dog really enjoyed these treats but after I had given her a piece I was very disturbed to find that the packaging and side crevices in the strips were full of bugs, many still alive. Even after I cleaned the strips off to remove the bugs and transferred them to a sealed ziplock bag a few more emerged. Yuck.

The picture says Water Buffalo but the item is listed as Beef, so which is it? My dog can't eat beef, but can digest buffalo fine so I need to know. It's impossible to find them stocked in the store now

I think they list as Beef because they don't have a Buffalo category. The packaging and ingredients list only buffalo; my dog loves them. I've been successful in finding them on Amazon.

You recently changed this item. They used to be longer and said Beef Strap on the package. Now they are half the size and say water buffalo. Can you please share if the ingredients use to be and what they are now? This is for a diabetic dog.

In response to Hh is my nickname, the strips were much longer, double the length. Now they are half the length and the same price and say buffalo instead of beef. The image of this item also changed. It used to show both the one it shows now and also the longer one and even included the dimensions. I have been ordering this product for the last few months as they stopped stocking it at my local petco and it has always been long. Guess they discontinued it and replaced it with this one which apparently has been available as well.
