DIRECTIONS

When using Glandex for the first time, we recommend starting at half (1/2) the recommended labeled dosage for the first 5-7 days, and then gradually increasing to the full recommended dosage after that. I bought this powder a couple weeks ago after having tried the chewable pills and my dog would not take them, even when I cut them into tiny pieces and put the pieces in cut up pill pockets. The vet advised the powder but my dog wont eat wet dog food. Now I chop up 1/4 chicken breast each day, sprinkle 1/4 top powder on and mix it up and he eats it right down! Hope it helps. We will know in a few months.

I bought this for my 12 year old Manx cat who had trouble expressing her glands on her own. After using this for 6 months, each expression appointment has been easier and healthier for her! We went from 4 week appointments to 12 weeks in between now! I would absolutely recommend this product for cats!

I feed my dog twice a day. I was splitting her dosage between the two feedings. Is there any reason I should not be doing this and instead give her the full dosage at only one meal of the day?

You can give the full dose at one feeding. I only feed my dogs once a day and only give once dose. The vet wasn't concerned about either.
