The typical dose administered to dogs for control of pain associated with arthritis is 0.5 to 1 mg per pound (1 to 2 mg/kg) every 24 hours orally as needed. Galliprant may be administered with or without food.
Galliprant is not for use in dogs taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or corticosteroids.

Where can I get the details on the metabolism of the medicine? I want to know how to dose in dog with stage 2 CKD
- It goes by the weight of your dog. My Pom is 5.2 lbs he gets 1/4 tablet a day. However this is prescription only so you need to get a written prescription to order it.

what are the side effects?
- I didn’t notice any adverse side effects. Positive side effects were improved lab tests, kidney and liver readings, after switching from another medication.
