Repeat until you can make a snowball of the soil that stays together but does not drip water when lightly squeezed. Place desired amount in terrarium or enclosure and change as needed.

I have hermit crabs in a 40 gallon tank. I bought the petsmart 3 pack of coconut fiber and it was fine. When I bought this, I bought an extra one for later use. I ended up having to use both 3 packs just to get the substrate to about 2 inches. Product sucks, just go to petsmart
