Questions
how long can an opened 2lb bag be held under refrigeration
- Hi Daphne, thank you for reaching out. All Freshpet recipes come with a Sell by Date. You can safely store the recipe in your refrigerator unopened until that date. Once opened you need to use the recipe within 5 days. Our recipes are gently cooked and contain fresh meat without preservatives. Keep them refrigerated and treat our recipes the same way you treat your fresh meats. Hope this helps! -Ingland

Does this food contain Garlic or Garlic powder. I see where a customer stated in their review that this food contains "Garlic". Garlic is not listed on the ingredients listing. I purchased some of your other foods and they have a strong garlic smell.
- Garlic is actually really beneficial for our pets. Of course, like with anything you need to give it in moderation and make sure the dose works with your dogs size and weight. Garlic is used in a lot of natural flea/tick medicines. I wish people would look up the benefits of garlic for dogs. It's onions you really need to worry about.
