Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise the litter for exceptional odor control and pleasant scent, with nearly all reporting high satisfaction. Reviewers consistently highlight powerful odor neutralization, describing results like "never smell the litter box" and noting the refreshing fragrance drives repeat purchases. Superior clumping performance makes cleaning effortless, and many report their cats readily accept the litter. A very small number find the scent too strong, but this concern is vastly outweighed by enthusiastic praise for odor elimination and overall performance, particularly in multi-cat households.

Customer Care

We're delighted to hear that Fresh Step Odor Shield Hawaiian Aloha Multi Cat Clumping Litter with Febreze Freshness continues to be a favorite in your home, delivering the odor control and value you're looking for. Our team is committed to offering trusted products that help create a fresher, more comfortable environment for pets and pet parents alike. Thank you!

Been using Fresh Step Hawaiian Aloha for many years. The recent changes are abysmal. It was made out to be just a repackaging. In reality the box is 3 pounds less for the same price. Not only that but the scent is completely different. It no longer smells like flowers but like old sunscreen. Absolutely horrible to change a product entirely, lower than amount and charge the same. Deceptive and greedy. Really disappointed in this company.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're truly sorry to hear you're disappointed with the size of our Hawaiian Aloha Scented Litter. We want to share that we adjusted some pack sizes to improve handling and shopability. Always check the weight printed on your package and on shelf labels. Retail pricing is set by retailers, but we work hard to deliver strong value in every size. So we can discuss this, please reach out to us at 800-325-9259 and mention #260414-000621. Talk to you soon.

This is not low dust except when you pour it into the litter box. As soon as it is walked on and during scooping it is very dusty and tracks everywhere.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Been buying for years then they changed the formula and now it's like clay they turns into cement. Won't be buying anymore. This stuff is impossible to scoop.

Thank you for your loyalty through the years. We understand your disappointment and are sorry to see our Hawaiian Aloha Extreme Scented Litter wasn't easy to scoop and clumped too hard. We want to help, so please call us at 800-325-9259 and mention #250108-000458. We hope to find a solution for you soon.

All four boxes of 25 pound litter were packed in one box. #1 that was too heavy for most people to pick up. #2 there was hole in bottom of outer box. I had ordered 3 pet toys. only one was in box. I assume third maybe fell out of box during transit. I will keep ordering from petco but Petco should rethink packaging of four heavy litter boxes.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this for my grand cats that came into town from Japan. I wanted everything as they had it in Japan. Stressful trip, but they were able to rest and relax and love Grammy’s house! It worked well and did not smell bad
