Water Works

It works as designed, when the water is drained from the bottom it fills the bowl. Contrary to some other reviews, for me, it does work as a "gravity" bowl. Now if my lizard would just go drink out of it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Might be good for small reptiles, not tortoises

The tray is high enough so that no debris gets inside. But keep in mind of the animals you put in this. I wanted to try this out with my year old sulcata tortoises. So far i have not seen them drink from it but they always get debris/substrate in the water. If that does happen, you have to clean it out which is not a big deal. But it also causes the water tank to be dirty and murky. Need to change the water every now and then. Hopefully i can get them to get used to drinking water from here. Other than that it is still a good product!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

Is it good for a Pacman frog

How long does this last? Going on vacation for a week, will this suffice?

    1. Depends on the size of your reptile and how much they drink in a day.

What are the Dimensions of the Water Dish and of the reservoir?

    1. The reservoir is 3 inches by 2 inches by 1 inch deep. It only fills with about a 1/4 an inch of water if you screw the bottle all the way into the base.  I own another 10 of these and use them for crested and gargoyle geckos. They work well.

What are the dimensions of the water dosh part?

    1. The base is an oval that is narrower on the water bottle side. Measuring at the widest points, the base is 7 inches long, 4 1/2 inches wide (narrows to 4 inches wide), and 2 inches tall.
