Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this scratching post for attracting cats and redirecting scratching away from furniture. Most report their cats love it immediately, with the attached ball and string toy providing extra engagement. Reviewers consistently describe it as well-made, sturdy, and durable, representing great value. Some note the base is too narrow and tips over during vigorous play, and a few mention it's too short for larger cats. Despite minor stability concerns, most customers consider it an excellent furniture-saving solution, especially for kittens and smaller cats.

It falls over often. They said the ball toy was replaceable, but that is dishonest as they don’t make replacements, and I can’t find any sort of substitute anywhere. My kitty destroyed the ball rather quickly so it was incredibly frustrating to not be able to fix it for him.

Customer Care

We understand your concerns regarding the product’s stability and the availability of replacement components. This product did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Please contact our Customer Service team at www.petco.com/contact-us, so we can assist further.

My cats love it and the ball is surprisingly durable. It is shredded after having it for a year, but its not loosing stuffing. The inner mesh around the stuffing has kept it all intact despite the outer layer fraying. Again my cats absolutely love this scratcher and I am considering buy another for when the ball and post itself inevitably fall apart.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this product for my cat named Stormy. When I told Stormy to look at what I bought for her, she was scared. So I left her alone for a few minutes to see what she was going to do. At first she walked very slowly toward the post. Then she sniffed it and started to play with the ball. Now whenever she is bored she’ll play with her post.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The cats love it especially the younger one. My son says that he is obsessed with it.

they like it a little, but it keeps tipping over on them when the scratch on it so I had to put the base under something else to keep it from tipping over. I believe the other one with the square base is much better, but with the carpet, they tear it apart and then it is stringy so have to constantly cut the strings from the carpet and pick up the carpet fuz so they don't swallow it.

No, I do not recommend this product.
