I purchased this product back on 2/21/26 in store. 3 months after having the stitching near the zipper came undone and now it is unusable. I contacted the store and since it was over the 30 days they could do no exchange even though it is a defective product.

While it certainly looks attractive and convenient, it is not a good crate if you dog scratches at its crate. Our dog, who does fine in his regular crate, was able to rip through the mesh portion of the cover with his claw and got it stuck. Nice design, poor functionality.

My (adult, not puppy) dog tore it up in about five minutes when I was testing it as a mobile crate to bring to the office on days where I bring her to work. She ripped right through the front fabric material, surprisingly not the netting or the zippers, those held up great, but tore straight through the opaque fabric.

I thought this was a great crate at first for my rescue dog. However, the zipper easily wore down and my dog was able to grab a piece of it and rip it open. This was too expensive for it to be broken after 2 1/2 months.

I really like this. My little guy can't escape. Lol. He willingly goes inside when the lights go out and it's bedtime. Bentley is about 10 pounds. I have this on the side of my bed, so we go to bed together. Yes, he knows when I get up at night.lol. I think Bentley likes it too. His bed and blankets and nighttime toys are inside.

This is a well made playpen but the pad is not washable. I have a 9 week old puppy and the trainer said no sleeping in my bed so we got this playpen. I put him in it last night and he pooped in it. the pad fell apart when I washed it, spot cleaning out of the picture. I like that it is framed for stability so I can put it on my bed beside me so he does not feel alone at night. Also there is no customer service number you can call.

This crate is MUCH lighter than a tradition metal or metal/plastic. It is not your “everyday” crate (dogs wear things out and occasionally get sick and need their kennel hosed out and sanitized) but great for traveling. DO NOT use this as your first crate that you pet is introduced to. They will be freaked out and will try clawing out and will tear it. Use this ONLY with a trained, adult, dog for travel. We used these for two crate trained dogs and I still spent the first hour calmly saying “no” each time one (who had never been in a soft-side) tried to claw at the door. (Even then, the door is not ripped through.) So, consider your application. These are not nearly as secure as a metal crate but super convenient to fold down and carry with you into a hotel. :)
