Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this product for enabling dogs to safely enjoy outdoor time without constant supervision, especially for those without fenced yards. Most highlight its ease of setup requiring no specialized tools, sturdy construction with heavy-duty plastic-coated metal cable that resists rust, and smooth gliding trolley action. Many note their pets love the freedom and it helps high-energy breeds burn energy and stay content. A few report issues with the plastic pulley wheel wearing thin or cable snapping under extreme cold, but these concerns are significantly outweighed by positive feedback. Overall, reviewers consider it a reliable solution for safe outdoor freedom.

Glide is always getting stuck between the roller and loop nut. I have to redesign the Glide roller.

Not sturdy or safe

I got this for my 49lb pitbull terrier so she could be outside in our unfenced yard without being on a leash in my control. She apparently is too strong for this, as the cable has already started to lower closer to the ground in only two weeks. When wearing a harness, attached to run, she runs and the pulley catches on the cable and wrenches her back. The pulley scrapes some of the nylon casing off of the metal cable when this happens. The rivets in the pulley are already starting to fail. I would not recommend this product for even a medium sized dog, even though it says it is for dogs up to 100lbs.

No, I do not recommend this product.

DO NOT USE ORIGINAL HARDWARE

Despite this being rated for 100 lb dogs, after less than two months of my 80 lb dog using it maybe 2-3 times a week (tops), the anchor hooks both completely gave out — allowing him to charge a reactive dog that was walking by. Thankfully we were outside with him and able to intervene before anyone got hurt, but DO NOT TRUST THOSE HOOKS WITH YOUR DOG’S LIFE AND WELLBEING!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Just purchased a couple days ago and the trolly keeps getting hung up and stopping my dog in her tracks with a quick jerk. DO NOT use without a body harness or your pup might break their neck. Its shredding the plastic coating on the line in the process as well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Solid cable for letting lighter dogs chill outside

The product feels fairly sturdy. The trolley is made of plastic but it maneuvers smoothly. Once you get through the untangling ordeal, the rest of the process is really easy. It's got two screw hooks for each end and two rope clips for one end which I believe will provide a solid anchor. That said, I'd say this really depends on what kind of dog you have. I have a 30 lb shiba who's pretty calm and enjoys just chilling outside. That said, I'd say this really depends on what kind of dog you have. Yes, I recommend this product.

This is such a great idea. We got this so we can tether our pups while out camping, without worrying about them getting tangled in each others' leashes. It gives them room to roam without worrying about them running off after a small animal.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have this trolly and my pup loves to run. How ever my issue is that the line with move out of the groove while she run and gets stuck and she gets jerked backwards. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I don't want my dog getting choked constantly
