It's fine enough but over 3 months I've already had one break because it cannot hold the weight of the water. The knob tightener can't get tight enough and the bowl leans at a sharp angle. The bowls being able to be removed from their holders inside the cage was helpful for cleaning.

After running a small animal rescue and having my own house full of pets, I've finally found an awesome crate food/water bowl. Bought one at my local store a few months ago to try. It's great. Fastens securely, 2 bowls in one, durable, easy to clean, doesn't waste space like others on the market. No clanking when eating, no harsh threads to catch on, quality materials. I ordered 8 more today. They're going in every crate/ cage I have! For animals who get both wet and dry food, I feed the dry in the bottom plastic bowl, then drop the metal bowl in with the wet/ fresh food. Wash bottom bowl periodically and metal one after each use. Even serve warm or frozen items in here. Can't recommend enough.

Bought a couple of these a few weeks ago and they do not stay attached to the kennel very well. The way that it clamps to the kennel is insufficient, the single plastic knob nut doesn’t grab the kennel wire solid enough and single hit from my dog while he is either eating or drinking can knock it free from one side of the panel wire.
