Can you use the fresh breath water additive in the water in this fountain for help in keeping your cats teeth clean and free from plaque?? Is it safe to use in the filters.
- Thank you for this great question! The filter is intended to remove bad tastes and odors from the water; it is possible that they may filter out water additives. We would recommend either not using water additives, or utilizing the fountain without the filter if you would prefer to use these additives.

- Sorry I don't know. I've given up on buying the filters. Instead I buy filter pads for aquariums and cut them to fit. Seems to work just fine.

Work with stand
- Unless the stand is very, VERY stable it might be kind of dangerous since the fountain is made of porcelain and would probably shatter if knocked off the stand.
