I really like this no dust formula. Truly very little dust for us. I have heard that the bags are inconsistent. However, for the first two 40lb bags we received, very low to no dust. Love that. Clumps quick for easy puck scooping, and tracks less. Still tracks! But less than other brands we've tried. We've tried Fresh Step Extreme and Arm & Hammer (both VERY dusty and large, unwieldy, crumbly, cementy/muddy clumps). The negative to this is that I can definitely smell the catbox. We have multiple cats. We scoop the boxes everyday, sometimes twice a day. Since switching to Dr. Elsey, I can smell the wafts of cat elimination after just a few days. The other brands, I couldn't smell anything for weeks. The other con is that this 40lb plastic baggy on litter is difficult to handle, especially with stairs! And sometimes the bags arrive busted when shipped. I like less packaging waste, but 40lbs of litter in thin plastic bags is..well, there has to be a better way! Anyway, I really like the low dust, good clumps, less tracking, and nice pricepoint. I don't like the smell or precarious handling. I don't know if I will stick with this brand or keep searching.

Inconsistent is the word for all these various Dr. L litters. Depending on the bag, one can be pretty good while another bag will have so much fines it’s super dusty. Also it’s super expensive! It’s litter so why is it so expensive? Why are all pet related stuff( food, litter, meds, insurance, vet bills) priced outrageously??!!?!? Who can afford to have fur babies? Anyway, good litter when it’s not a dusty bag but it is too expensive. Need to find another option.

I tried a few natural litters, and came back to Dr. Elsey's for superb frangrance-free odor control and significantly less tracking.

So many things wrong with this product - 1. Super heavy, 2. When litter is urinated on, it turns to concrete and sticks to the litter box, 3. Must be changed, not scooped, every two days or it smells awful, 4. It tracks everywhere! Worst purchase ever.

My cats were peeing outside the otter box. I finally realized it was the scent in the cat litter. Cats generally do not like scented litters. Someone recommended Dr Elsey's and now everything is puurfect.

I've been using Dr. Elsey for years. I would never use another cat litter brand. Clumps hard. Easy to scoop. No dust (Which is important to me since the cat box is in my closet)

i normally use A&H Slide. I tried this because i’ve seen people on social media saying how great it is and how much they like it…. ITS AWFUL. i bought it 2 weeks ago and every time i walk in my house it stinks. i have a litter robot and it cycles every few minutes and some house still smells. The inside of the litter box is disgusting. There are urine wet spots all around the inside. If it’s this bad in a litter box that is always scooped i can’t imagine how disgusting a regular litter box gets.
