Added to that are omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids in an appropriate ratio, as they have been shown to be beneficial to skin and coat health. Peas provide quality carbohydrates and also enhance palatability in this grain-free formulation. Finally, this specialized diet is rounded out with a limited number of select ingredients. For best results, be sure to talk to your veterinarian and limit other foods, such as treats, that could also contribute to adverse skin reactions in your pet.

I've tried countless dog foods including raw, gently cooked, and vet-prescribed hydrolyzed protein food, but none solved Fred's paw licking and tear stain issue. His tear stains were never clean and his paws were always red. The hydrolyzed protein food I got from the vet did help with his digestion so I looked into alternative hydrolyzed protein food and found Diamond Care. I didn't have high hopes but I saw the change happen within a week! Now his face is tear stain free and his paws are white again. It must be such a relief for Fred too. Thank you for making this amazing formula and I hope you never stop making this! The only request would be, please make another hydrolyzed protein recipe so Fred can have some variety in his food. But other than that absolutely no complaints.
