I started feeding my Belgian Malinois puppy this puppy food, and she 3 months old and getting so big, healthy and smart. Shes bigger, stronger and smarter than all her littermates.

I have used this brand many times with pups. My now 16 month old, was on this when I got him at 8 weeks of age. He was on this until he turned 1 year old then I switched him over to the Adult Lamb &Rice..which he also loves.

I've been using the rice and lamb formula of large dog Puppy for him since we brought Buddy home, back in June of 2015. We took him immediately to our veterinarian from the county animal shelter. He weighed only 8½ pounds and the vet said he was about 2 years old and had been wandering the county, because he showed no signs of having been keep as a pet. Buddy slowly gained weight and has maintained his 25 pounds within a year of his being housed inside at all times. He quickly became house trained and has had no more than 3 mistakes in that 10+ years. I think we happened upon the right formula for him.

So I've had dogs my entire life, fed numerous brands throughout. My last 2 dogs (rotties, one of which was my service dog, the other a female rescue). I fed them a mix of Taste of the wild, blue buff, and cooked for them until they both passed away recently. I had already picked out a new male rott pup to begin training as my new service dog, knowing I was going to be retiring my previous big guy. So the new pup was already eating the diamond puppy from the breeder and I saw no reason to change it. At 4 months old he is doing fantastic on it growing like a weed, great energy, super soft coat, no digestive issues, good poops... So fast foreward and I rescue an 8 month old female rottie that was in horrible condition! Literally she was like a bag of bones! Was being fed cheap garbage dollar store dog food! I think the girl was in over her head with the dog and ended up throwing her in her moms back yard with an adult male german shep that was obviously beating the tar out of the poor dog and getting all the food! I have literally had this gal for 1 week, and the amount of weight she has put on is insane! She's BIG for a female too! I started her out on 4 smaller sized meals throught the day/night to avoid overloading her digestive, finally on the 4th day she started leaving some food in the bowl at some feedings. So I then cut her back to 3 larger feedings morning, afternoon, night. So she is at this point self regulating when I put the large bowl of dry food in her kennel, sometimes eating it all, sometimes not. She has had NO issues at all! She is learning manners, how to be a house dog & chewing on appropriate things, is a total sweetheart, great playmate for my younger male, has lots of energy, her coat is amazing compared to what it was, and as I already said the amount of weight she's put on is amzing...! Needless to say I'll be sticking with this Diamond puppy food!

I raise my AKC Yorkies, Miniature Pinschers and Toy Poodles on Diamond Puppy. They are so healthy.
