Good concept
My gsd loves balls so we purchased this for her- the balls that come with it are extremely soft so if you have a hard chewer they will destroy them
Quickly- the balls are a good size. Easy to use. My only complaint is it doesnt shoot the balls very far

NOT user-friendly and very effortful to use.
I highly recommend NOT buying the Chuckit! Cannon Dog Ball Launcher. This is NOT a user friendly item. It is NOT conducive to having an enjoyable time playing with your dog. It is so difficult to pull back the launcher in order to insert the ball and release it. Even with much effort when pulling it as far back as it will go, the inner mechanism still did not grasp hold of the ball. This item is meant for a body builder that goes to the gym and does very strenuous exercise. It is so effortful that it pulls on the arms, which, in turn, puts pressure on the chest. That was my experience. I am not a weak person. The idea of the ball launcher is good. The toll it takes on the user as it stands makes it an unusable item. The company would be smart to chuck this product and create one that is easy to use.

Best ball launcher for ball crazy pups
We love the Chuckit Max! Our two year-old miniature schnauzer is obsessed with playing ball and this was the best option on the market!
We love that there is replacement bands available to extend the life of the ball launcher.
I would love to see Petmate use heavier duty material that lasts longer. The internal mechanism is thin hard plastic that looks like it might give out quickly which is a bummer. I would love to see it upgraded to sturdier material and would happily pay the extra price. Sadly, after about two weeks of play, the handle literally broke off in my hand when I was pulling it back to launch a ball. I did reach out to Petmate in hope that there is some sort of warranty.
But all in all, we still love the Chuckit! Ball Launcher Max! And will be buying more ball launchers!

Very durable and the dogs love it 1
My son bought this for our dogs and they absolutely loved it . It isnt super loud when the balls come out . It lasted for quite awhile .. The balls shot out a pretty good distance . I would definitely buy it again .

Funnest toy
Honestly this is such a fun you. It’s the first time I’m actually having as much fun as my dog not that it wasn’t playing fetch before but this is such a great addition to our chuck it launchers that we have. It’s so creative of their team to include this. It would be a great addition for anyone looking to have some extra fun with their dog.

Not Worth The Money
I bought this because using the throwing stick kind was really bothering my shoulder. But the mechanism to load the ball is labor intensive and would be nearly impossible if you do not have good upper body strength. Also, the balls that come with it are useless. My dog chewed on them for five minutes and they were ruined.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Oh the dogs love this as I can’t throw balls far this gives me distance for them to run. It’s well designed no assembly required. Helps teaching fetch
