Customers say

Customers praise the toy's creative dual features—flying butterflies and dancing cactus—that capture feline curiosity through unpredictable movement mimicking prey behavior. Many report cats eventually warmed to the toy after an initial adjustment period, becoming actively engaged. The sturdy, well-built design withstands energetic play, and compact size suits any room. However, several note the fan noise startles timid or elderly cats, with some refusing to approach. Concerns persist about six AA batteries being excessive and costly, plus small cellophane butterfly pieces posing choking hazards requiring supervision. Despite mixed reactions by cat personality, most find the novelty worthwhile.

fun but requires batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this toy is so cute and I love that my cat is intrigued by it. It does require six AA batteries so just something to keep in mind if you don't want to use a lot of batteries, but yeah, she liked it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Catstages 2-in-1 Air Blaster Play Set was an instant hit with my cat! The interchangeable terrarium and dancing cactus attachments keep playtime fresh and exciting. The moving features encourage chasing, pouncing, and natural hunting instincts. It's well-made, easy to switch out, and provides plenty of entertainment for curious cats. Great for keeping indoor cats active and engaged!

Cute concept but not meant for every cat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the concept of this cat toy is really cute and with the intent of it being more engaging for them. However, my cats weren't and still aren't entirely sure about it. The entire unit itself is relatively light weight, maybe a couple pounds and requires 6 AA batteries that are not included. After taking the tank part off to remove the little "bugs" from the bag, for some reason it wouldn't realign and seal right. It took me several tries to get it back on correctly. The bugs are comparable to the size of a quarter, but clearly longer due to the wings. There are 2 little leaver options, one for air flow/speed 1-4 and the other to run the toy continuously or at random. After turning it on, it does have a light hum from the fan, but it isn't overly loud by any means. The cats liked watching the bugs fly around inside the tank but didn't grasp the concept of being able to stick their paws on either side in the holes to try and catch them and this is after a few tries of showing them. They had the same reaction to all speeds and we would end up with the bugs blowing out of the holes and onto the floor. The dancing cactus was definitely more entertaining for them. You push a little button on the air blaster to remove the tank, turn the blaster on its side and attach the cactus. There are foam "feet" on two sides of the air blaster to help maintain it from sliding around. Our boy Eddy, really liked watching the cactus and trying to hit at it. Putting it on random was funny to watch. When they thought it was done, they'd start to walk away, it would start back up and catch them off guard. It's a nice change in their toy cycle, but with the limited interest and uncertainty on how to fully interact with it, I'm not sure I'd recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats still don't know what to think of this multi-toy but my girl seems more interested in the flying bugs and my boy prefers the cactus. It is a bit noisy and can be aggressive so I dont recommend it for skittish cats. It has 4 air intensity settings but it doesn't seem like 1 or 2 do very much. Im not sure if the holes in the sides of the bug containers are for the bugs to fly out after a while which they do alot and I have to constantly put them back in, or if theyre for cat paws? This thing also takes 6 AA batteries which at that point just make it rechargeable, because I think thats so excessive. It has 2 air frequency modes settings on it. One is Random and the other is Continuous. Random turns on and off after maybe a couple of minutes or so and continuous blows for a period of time but it will eventually stop and im not sure if it has a sensor or not but it kicks back on when I walk over to it or my cat does.

Cute cat toy for younger cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute cat toy. My cat wasn’t too sure about it. One part was broken so I wasn’t able to test it. Only thing I didn’t care for was how quickly it used up batteries. My cat isn’t a kitten anymore so I think it’d be more suitable for younger cats.

Cute but cats not interested

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this cat toy in exchange for my honest review. This product is super cute and I love the idea of it, but my cat seemed more confused and they were interested, but it didn’t hold both of their attention for too long and scared them a bit. My cats didn’t ever fully figure it out even after multiple times of trying they’d get bored eventually. I think some younger kittens may love this product, but I feel like the price might not be worth it for most people and more basic toys might be better and hold their attention a lot longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super cool car toy! Very cute and multi functional. Alot of batteries to use but hopefully the battery life is good. Cats at first we’re scared of it, but they have come around to play with it and be very curious about it. Low on the noise. Compact and keeps the cats busy!
