The Canada Pooch Weighted Calming Vest is easy to put on and take off with velcro closures around the chest and belly. Ensure both are secured and snug for optimal fit. It is important to create a positive association with the calming vest by slowly introducing your dog to this product in a calm environment. To help create a calm environment, consider laying the product across their body to get them used to the vest before securing the closures, encouraging them with treats, or playing calm music.

I loved the way your weighted calming jacket fit and looked on my 15 lb chihuahua mix. He’s deathly afraid of thunder and I thought I had finally found help. However, after testing it on Riley and then trying to take it off, I found the Velcro too strong and I couldn’t take it off by myself. My daughter, who Riley loves more than me, tried to help but it was so difficult that Riley tried to bite her. We were astonished and had to return the vest. Too bad. Hopefully that can be fixed because it otherwise seems to be a quality product.

I love this for my Teddy! Fireworks and thunderstorms are the worst, but this weighted vest helps relieve some of his anxiety!

Velcro poorly adhered and is coming off after using the product for two times. Was delivered Thursday and is now Monday and already falling apart. Not worth the $60

Got this for my senior dog with cognitive decline. It has really helped her settle into sleep and sleep deeper and for longer periods. Really pleased and love that the weighted part is removable for washing.

Our dog Dude, gets anxious with sudden movements or noise at night. We put this on and his barking and reactions are MUCH better. He's calmer and not as impacted.
