Customers say

Customers overwhelmingly praise this weight control cat food for satisfying even picky eaters while delivering visible weight loss results. Most report their cats enthusiastically consume the food, with many noting immediate acceptance and improved body condition within weeks. Reviewers consistently highlight the natural ingredients, absence of fillers, and smaller kibble size as trusted features supporting long-term health. The chicken and brown rice formula is frequently cited as the key to compliance. A few customers report their cats showed initial indifference, but these cases are rare compared to the dominant positive feedback. Overall, most consider this an effective solution for weight management without sacrificing appetite.

This is an amazing food and my cats absolutely love it

My cat was getting older and lazy. Her inactivity was adding pounds to her body. So i changed her diet to Tastefuls weight control. She really liked this food. As a result her weight dropped to a healthy level.

The big neutered female cat eats it ok. She still misses the full calorie Science Diet Salmon & pea cat food. The smell is not perfect but ok too. She still gains weight if I give her all she wants, so it is a stress to keep her happy and not end up with diabetes. She should be about 9 pounds but weighs 15 pounds.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I changed and my cat loves the chicken and I noticed it has helped with her weight.

I purchased this product because my cat was slightly overweight. In less than two months of feeding this to my cat she GAINED 1.5 lbs, even though I feed her less! She's also become less playful. She does love the flavor, and she begs for it constantly. I have taken her to the vet, and she has no other issues besides the weight gain. I'm poor and disabled, and it's hard on me financially to have to donate this, but I have no choice. I'm disappointed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We're sorry your kitty had a poor experience with our BLUE Tastefuls™ Weight Control formula. We'd like to learn more and further assist you so please reach out to us directly at https://bluebuffalo.com/about/contact/. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

This causes my cat turned his nose up to. I am in the process of switching from the Veterinary Urinary and Weight Control food. What I do is put out the bowls and let him try the food before mixing. I did this twice and both times he turned his nose up. He did eventually eat it, but was not happy about it.

I recently switched my cat to Blue Weight Control Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe, and the results have been fantastic. The blend of high-quality chicken and wholesome brown rice has not only helped maintain my cat's ideal weight but also kept her energetic and satisfied. Her coat looks shinier, and she seems to enjoy every meal. I appreciate the natural ingredients and the lack of artificial additives. It's a bit pricier than some other brands, but the health benefits and my cat's happiness make it well worth it. Highly recommended for any cat needing weight management without compromising on taste and nutrition.

I was just about to try this out for my cats, but then read the ingredients and noticed garlic, which is toxic for cats. Is this normal? What the heck? Now I have to start my search all over again. Why is garlic in there?

From what I read.. SMALL amounts of garlic is good for dogs and cats, can help with flea control and blood flow.
