Customers overwhelmingly praise this senior grain-free formula for transforming their dogs' health and digestion. Most report significant improvements including elimination of gas, diarrhea, itching, ear infections, and rashes, particularly for dogs with allergies or sensitive stomachs. Dogs across breeds eagerly consume the food, with picky and elderly eaters showing restored mealtime enthusiasm. Reviewers emphasize the high-quality ingredients and long-term reliability, with many feeding it for over a decade. Several note improved joint mobility and reduced shedding. Questions
My small poodle mix rescue is now 7 years and has been on Small Breed Freedom for her adult life. She often picks out the life bits and drops them outside her bowl. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting ready to switch her to senior.
- Hi Mistica, You may want to consider switching to senior dog food. Dogs between ages 6 years and 10 years are considered to be seniors. We would also suggest that you check with your dog's vet for advise regarding the food.

What size dog is this food for?
- Rhiannon9, Thank you for your question. The Blue Buffalo Freedom Grain Free Chicken Recipe Senior Dog Food can be fed to dogs of any size. Per the manufacturer recommendations this can be fed to dogs up to 15 pounds, which should be fed 1/2 to 1-1/4 cups daily. For additional information and other feeding guidelines on this product, we would recommend looking under the More Information tab on the product page.

What size are the pellets in the blue senior dog food? is it made for small or large dogs?
- They are not very large, about the size of most of their foods but not tiny like their life source bits. I have a 3 lb Yorkie with dental issues and she has not any problem with this food. I just switched to it a month ago. Both of my small dogs like it a lot.

Do you have food acceptable for a diabetic dog
- Blue Buffalo Freedom Grain Free Chicken Recipe Senior Dog Food would be a good replacement for the Science Diet you are currently feeding your dog.
