I had to buy another Birdfy! I received one for my bday 3 years ago and I love it. My bday has rolled around again and I decided to celebrate myself with a new Birdfy. This one has a suet ball holder. Yay me!!

This new bird feeder is incredible. There are several parts of it that are of particular notice. First and foremost, the side angle view of the camera is so nice. Instead of the normal head-on shot, this view lets you watch your feathery friends from the side. Another item that I really like is having the solar panel attached to the top of the feeder instead of a separate piece that must also be mounted. The convenience this provides is amazing. An interesting perspective and a real joy to watch. This is our 4th Birdfy unit, and as with the others, it was easy to set up and connect. And it is well made. Sturdy and it looks great. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for my new Cedar Birdfy feeder to arrive. Setup was incredibly easy, and the connection process was super simple. While it comes with several different mounting options, I used the pole clamp to set it up right alongside my existing feeder in the corner of the yard. It is a fantastic addition to my Florida native plant garden! Right out of the box, the size and color are perfect; the organic look blends seamlessly into the surrounding trees and nature. One of my favorite features is the solar panel. It completely eliminates the hassle of having to take the feeder down to recharge it, which is a massive quality-of-life upgrade. It also comes with a suet ball attachment that my local Cardinals have been absolutely loving. I already own a traditional wood Birdfy feeder, but what makes this new cedar version such a great companion is the camera placement. While my original one captures everything from a straight-on perspective, this new model offers a distinct side-angle view. It’s really neat getting a different profile look at the birds as they land and feed. Overall, the AI detection is snappy, the design is thoughtful, and it offers a fresh perspective on my daily feathered visitors. Highly recommend!

perfect camera - great built in solar system and all in all efficient build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to add this Birdfy feeder to my expanding bird feeding station. The Birdfy Feeder Cedar D is among my first wood feeders and it is beautiful. Setup was a breeze. There is an instruction book that explains the basics. And the Birdfy app walks you though the techy side of setup. I chose to purchase a food grade beeswax to help seal the outside wood on this feeder to keep it looking great for a long time. Applying the beeswax was easy. Mounting the feeder was very easy. Mounting hardware is included for a variety of mounting options. The seed hopper is large which is fantastic for my backyard because the birds are plentiful and eat a lot so this allows the feeder to stay full longer. Filing the feeder while mounted is easy and I love that there's a safety bar that fits into a notch to keep the feeder lid closed no matter the weather. Photo and video quality has been excellent although the camera angle is definitely different on this feeder but it tends to give a different perspective. And I love the convenience of the built in solar panel so that I won't have to worry about keeping the battery charged! I do want to note that the floor of this feeder can benefit from a little extra reinforcement if your birds are as rambunctious as mine are .. we are going to nail it in for a tighter and secure fit. I also want to note that when I ordered this the shipping was ultra fast. I wasn't expecting to receive it so quickly! I'm pleased with this feeder. I would not hesitate to add another one of these to my feeder collection!

We love this feeder! We didn't have any suet yet, but put some cut fruit in the wire holder and the birds loved it! It holds a surprising amount of birdseed. The AI is really cool for beginners like us who don't know birds that well yet.

This birdfeeder is absolutely beautiful! The wood is gorgeous and looks so nice in the yard! It comes mostly put together and so set up is very simple and fast. Getting connected is very easy with the app! Once set up, it is very easy to fill and get ready for your birds to enjoy! The camera takes crystal clear, wonderful pictures and video of your visitors! The sound is great so you can hear some of the more outspoken birds and their calls! The AI identification makes it easy to search for specific birds and filter through your visitors from the day. My kiddos love seeing which birds have visited and are actually learning species of birds and can identify them from the porch! This feeder really takes birdwatching to another level!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of the seed hopper. It’s twice the size so I can stretch the time between refilling it. I’m a little disappointed with the camera angle. When birds are on the perch too close to it, it’s not the best view. Otherwise, the quality of the camera is top notch! The style of the bird feeder blends nicely in my flower garden and it’s busy all day. I also love the AI bird identifier. It’s correct 99% of the time.
