Description
Create an environment for you and your fish to enjoy! This slim, low-profile light is fully customizable with the free Aqueon BlueIQ App by connecting using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. You will have full control of the white, blue and color LEDs separately and light intensity can adjust in 1% increments with a simple slider bar, making it quick and easy to match any mood. Use the optimal, 24-hour default schedule which includes sunrise, day, sunset and night or create your own schedule using provided or customized presets so you can enjoy at any particular day or time. Add weather effects to your environment including cloud coverage and lightning. Customers say
Customers overwhelmingly praise the brilliant brightness and vibrant color customization, noting how it dramatically enhances tank appearance and brings out fish colors while supporting plant growth. The smartphone app's ability to schedule lighting, adjust brightness in 1% increments, and create sunrise, sunset, and storm simulations is widely appreciated. Installation is consistently described as tool-free and simple. Most value the energy efficiency and durability. A few report app connectivity issues, lack of physical power button, or fit problems under tank lids, but the vast majority consider it a worthwhile purchase with benefits far outweighing minor drawbacks.

Questions
Does anyone have the PAR specs on this?
- The Aqueon OptiBright 30-36" SMART LED is designed to provide targeted illumination with peak intensity concentrated directly under the center of the fixture. At the water's surface (0–4" depth), the light delivers a high-output PAR range of 360–400+ µmol/m²/s, ideal for floating plants or high-light species placed on elevated hardscapes. As you move deeper into the aquarium, the intensity naturally tapers: at a mid-range depth of 8–12", you can expect 120–160 µmol/m²/s, while at a standard substrate depth of 18–24", the PAR settles into the 0–40 µmol/m²/s range. This gradient makes the OptiBright an excellent choice for low-to-medium light aquariums, allowing you to place high-demand plants in the central "peak" zone while utilizing the perimeter and floor for low-light species like Anubias or Java Fern.
