Description

Create an environment for you and your fish to enjoy! This slim, low-profile light is fully customizable with the free Aqueon BlueIQ App by connecting using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. You will have full control of the white, blue and color LEDs separately and light intensity can adjust in 1% increments with a simple slider bar, making it quick and easy to match any mood. Use the optimal, 24-hour default schedule which includes sunrise, day, sunset and night or create your own schedule using provided or customized presets so you can enjoy at any particular day or time. Add weather effects to your environment including cloud coverage and lightning. Cloud mode dims and brightens as if clouds are moving past slowly or moving quickly on a windy day depending what intensity you prefer. Lightning mode randomly dims all the lighting and then flashes white to give the impression of a lightning storm. The intensity you choose will affect the number of random flashes that take place.

Total junk. added the app to my phone and adjust the light setting. The light just started flickering and then just shuts off. Turned it back on through the app but it just did the same thing again after a few minutes. tries to use my wifi but the app doesn't find my wife. Tried the rest option but same issues.

This Smart light is awful. It unpairs on its own and there is no way to turn it on and off without using your phone. The reset button is a joke and so small you can’t barely press it. Why does everything go through your phone these days, because they want to advertise to you. Just make it simple and have buttons that work or a remote. I only had this for a month before it started unpairing by itself and it’s almost impossible to repair it. Throwing it in the garbage where it belongs

I really don’t like this light. Unlike my Fluval light, which has a clear on/off button, this Aqueon OptiBright makes it unnecessarily complicated just to turn the light on or off. For something as simple as an aquarium light, there should be a straightforward switch. The design feels inconvenient and frustrating to use. I wouldn’t recommend this product to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great Light. It is bright enough to see the details of the aquarium without being unnatural. I run the light 20 hours a day so being LED I don’t worry about the energy consumption.
