I bought this to run in a QuietFlow 50 that I am running on a QT. I installed this into my filter after 30 days of running copper in the QT. After 72 hours I checked my copper level with my Hanna checker, and my copper level had not come down even 0.01 PPM. In order for carbon to remove contaminants the water has to pass through the carbon. Using this carbon in my filter the water just flows over it and it does not remove any contaminants.

No, I do not recommend this product.
